each string shot in 10 seconds

Bullseye Pistol: Matches are shot in 3 phases, slow fire (10 rounds 10 min).  Timed fire (5 rounds in  20 seconds), and rapid fire (5 rounds in 10 seconds).  Indoor distance is 50 feet, outdoors is 50 yards and 25 yards, depending on what each range has available.  Targets are adjusted in size for each distance.  All shooting is done standing, with one hand.

Equipment needed: To get started, a good .22 pistol is a must.  Ruger and Browning make excellent semi-autos that can take a shooter to Master class, a good .45 caliber is also required.  To have any measure of success, your 45 should be capable of 3" groups or less at 50 yards.  Optical sights are allowed, but not mandatory, and a good spotting scope is also recommended.
