Three Gun Match
Saturday March 10th 2012

Custer 3-Gun Charity Challenge

      On Saturday March 10th, Kevin Green of Custer Sportsman's Clubs junior Steel Team, Team Gotta, will be holding a charity Three gun match at Custer Sportsman's Club for his High schools senior culminating project. $20 of each entry fee will be donated to the charity of the match winners choice. This match is based off of USPSA rules, but is a wildcat match, so bring your guns, have some fun, and score some cash for your charity, but leave your rulebook at home. Participation will be limited to 50 registrations, pre registration is strongly encouraged. There are 4 classifications to choose from; Open, Limited, Heavy Metal, and Cowboy. Proof of prior USPSA/SASS participation OR a Custer Sportsman's Club back range safety check is required. There will be a shoot off of the winners of the four divisions stated below; the winner of the shoot off will determine the match winner.  (Custer will specify and supply the firearms and ammunition for the shoot off.)  If you have any questions about the match or your eligibility to participation please contact match Director Kevin Green at (360) 656-5184 or simplegreen@comcast.net   Registration begins at 8am, match starts at 9am. There will be 5 stages in the match. 100 rounds of each firearm should be brought to the match to insure you will have enough to finish.

Classifications

OPEN- Rifle (.223/5.56 or larger) -Port/Comps, bi-pods and optics-Shotgun (20 ga or larger) -Port/Comps and optics -Semi-automatic or pump action-Pistol (9mm or larger) -Port/Comps and optics, mag length 170mm

LIMITED- Rifle (.223/5.56 or larger) -Bi-pods-Shotgun (20 ga or larger) -Semi-automatic or pump action-Pistol (9mm or larger) -Mag length 140mm(Limited to one optic on firearm of choice)

HEAVY METAL- Rifle (.308 or larger) -Bi-pods and Scope-Shotgun (12 ga or larger) -Semi-automatic or pump action-Pistol (45ACP or larger) -Mag limit 10 rounds

COWBOY ACTION (SASS/Wild Bunch)- Rifle (38 or larger) - Lever action Cowboy gun-Shotgun (20 ga or larger) -Break action or pump action only-Pistol (38 or larger) -2 Single action Revolvers Or 1911 pistol
