Description

These competitions are for folks to use their “pocket rocket” that they “carry a lot and shoot little”. This will give you the much needed practice in a competitive environment. Iron sights, laser sights and red dot sights are all approved if that is what you carry.

Handgun calibers from 22 LR on up are allowed if that is “what you normally carry for personal defense”. Revolvers and semi-autos compete equally.

The format will be the round robin style. Each competitor will shoot twice against every other competitor attending.

The targets will be 5 regulation size bowling pins placed on 4 feet x 8 feet steel tables 10 yards from the shooter.

Competitors will start each string of fire at the “low ready” position. At present, we do not draw from concealment. Only two competitors at a time will shoot. First one to knock all of the pins off of the table receives 1 point. At the end of the match, the shooter with the most points claims bragging rights.

All competitors should be prepared to shoot “weak hand” as well as “strong hand”. After all, this is concealed carry.
