Description

Welcome to Custer 3-Gun!

Whether you are a seasoned 3 Gunner or new to the sport, we welcome you to come out and just have fun! Our affiliation with UML (United Multi Gun League) gives you, the shooter, several shooting options. We offer several divisions to get and keep you involved in shooting, so everybody can come out and play. Currently we offer Limited, Tac Ops, Open, Heavy, 2 x 4, Rifle/Pistol and PCC. So, whether you only have a pistol caliber carbine or want to shoot an AR-15, Pistol, Shotgun and a PCC you can come out and join us! Take a look at the UML rules for division equipment requirements and to familiarize yourself with the rules of the game. At this time we do not have a division for rim fire pistols or rifles. We are currently supporting two gun for those who don’t own a shotgun. We will have 1-3 belt setups to borrow for those who are interested in getting in to the discipline.

You do not need to be a member of UML to shoot a match, only if you want to earn points and climb the rankings in the UML league, which is your choice. When you are a member you also get points for helping the match director set up the match which will assist in ranking faster. UML believes in rewarding shooters that want to help shooters. All you need is your UML member # to have your scores uploaded.

We shoot our matches the third Sunday of each month, typically not running matches in the months of November, December and January. Check with our Face Book: https://www.facebook.com/Custer-3-Gun-321399364541515/  page for current info or cancellations.

Since our Match is on a Sunday, we set up the match Saturday afternoon, we encourage and welcome you to come and help set up Saturday afternoon. If that is not possible for you, feel free to show up as early as 7 AM the day of the match to help set up. Setup times will be posted on our Facebook page.

Registration will start at 9:00 am until 9:45 sharp, please be on time as it is a hassle to add shooters after we have linked all the I-Pads. Shooters meeting starts at 10:00 AM. It’s always a good idea to get to the match at least early enough to get your equipment ready and head in the game.

Match fee is $20.00 US funds, bring correct change. We will not be charging shooters to upload scores to UML. Bring at least 100 rounds of ammo for each gun used, if you’re going to just use a PCC bring 300, always best to have enough ammo. Exact round counts will be posted on our Facebook page prior to match. Make sure that your .223/5.56/.308 ammo is non-magnetic, if you ruin a steel target you will need to buy it, average cost is $100.00.

If you have never shot a pistol, rifle or 3-gun competition you will need a Safety class before shooting a match you will have to contact our match director before you come out to shoot. If you have any questions please contact one of our Match Directors-Rylan Korby or Bobby Iverson at .
